Since my early childhood I have had a great fascination, love and interest for Japanese history, art, culture, spirituality and philosophy. I have found that over the years this interest has found it’s way into my life and work. Bio

David Maple was born in England in 1964. His artistic outsight started at a young age. By the time he was 12 years old he was carving decorative bird carvings in wood and competing with them in the World Wildfowl Carving Competitions in Ocean City, MD.
